SKIPTON CASTLE.

A record of Castles and curiosities that we have visited. From the very grand Castles in the Yorkshire dales to the small curiosities that we have stumbled upon on our day trips.
SAWLEY ABBEY.

Although most are just ruins, some are accessible and have roofs and are partly furnished. With a vivid imagination and an interest in history, each visit inspires the need to find and visit more.

For each place we have visited, we have taken hundreds of photographs and could fill each post with them. However we feel that should we do this, we would take away the enjoyment and mystery for you.
