Gawthorpe Hall.

Burnley Road Padiham, Burnley BB12 8UA

We were pleasantly surprised at the grandeur of Gawthorpe Hall but hadn't really looked into its history like we normally do. The outbuildings and old stables on their own were impressive and in very good condition along with the wide cobbled yard.

After climbing a few steps into the well-manicured gardens, the hall came into view. It was a 'wow' moment. We had a look around the outside first and walked through the rear garden which was lovely.

Upon entering the hall we were greeted by the admission staff who were very friendly and gave a short talk on the history of the place. In each room, there was a guide who answered every question asked. Gawthorpe hall surpassed our expectations and was a delight to visit. We would highly recommend visiting both the grounds for the idyllic setting and the hall itself.
