Shibden Hall itself is very good both externally and internally even though it has been modernized over 500 years. The wood paneling and furniture are beautiful.
There are tours there but unfortunately, We missed it but caught the end of one. We would recommend going to see Shibden hall and grounds. Not only did it fill us with awe but it generated a feeling of gratitude for our modern-day conveniences.
The barn and displays at the rear of the hall were well presented that it felt almost like we were in a time warp.
All in all a great place to visit with very helpful staff. This is the place to spend a delightful afternoon.
