The area is beautiful and peaceful and it's very hard to imagine the savage battle that was here and the number of soldiers that were killed. The obelisk has information panels on its sides and there is an information board behind that has enough information to satisfy. However, we would recommend doing some more research before going as this helps and fires the imagination even more.
